Other sites the private company is also eying are in California, Florida, Puerto Rico, and Georgia. Due to it’s reusable parts, the rocket being launched from Texas or anyone of those sites will be dramatically cheaper due to the new reusable technologies. SpaceX’s goal they’re moving towards? This unmanned lunar mission will land on the Moon’s south pole is hopes to create a permanent base for observing and scientific research. If successful, this will be the first ever private telescope to be put on the moon. It could even be used by us. Pictures, images, and information will be available to been viewed at on the internet.
