Google Glass release date to be pushed back to 2014, sources say.
Earlier
projections have suggested that Google Glass was planned for a late
2013 release. Now, sources within Google are saying the Google Glass
release date is going to be sometime next year. A Google spokesman said
this about the Google Glass,
“We’re always adjusting and readjusting
our timelines. The most important thing that we do is focus on building
a great product for users whenever that might be launched.” It is planned to be released sometime during the second half of 2014.
Wind
farms look like an innovative idea and would help cut down our energy
needs, but have overall been inconsistent. Wind farms have been to
expensive to implant for the energy that they actually produce. However,
countries such as England of Germany are now adding wind mills off of
their coasts. One reason is that seas that are around Germany and
England tend to get a lot of wind. Also, wind mills that are off the
coast and away from land are less likely to become an environmental
hazard. Over the last few years and into the near future, wind mill
technology has overall gotten better and should continue that way, but
do the benefits outweigh the coasts. Only time will tell.
The
Uji Shower Head
is a new invention that tells a person when they have used too much
water.
"It encourages people to take more energy efficient showers,"
Brett Andler one of the co-inventors said. Priced at $50, the water and
energy saved would amount to about $87 a year. The Uji Shower Head will
be available to purchase in 2014 and four universities have already said
they are willing to install these shower heads in college dorms.
