A rocket that NASA intends to use for missions to Mars and beyond passed a critical design test, officials announced today. This is a crucial step for the NASA's vision of one day sending astronauts deeper into space. This ship is set to take off in 2017 and the first manned flight is scheduled for 2021. NASA plans to land man on an asteroid near Earth by 2025 and the eventual human mission to Mars is planned in the 2030s.

-Can we ever see cars flying in the near future?
The idea of flying cars has always been an idea to a "future-technological advanced" city - something you would see in a movie such as Star Wars. For the first time this week, the first glimpse of a car that can transition into a flying car took to the sky for it's first public flight. The car-plane comes with a hefty price tag and costs about $279,000. Once approved by the Federal Aviation Administration the private company hopes to start selling this product by 2015. We'll see if the aviation car market ever evolves into something that is realistic for society.

 An interesting story I wanted to throw into today's articles. A bike a man rode up the east coast is powered by solar panels. Nothing that is a clear innovation just a story I came across when I was researching for stories.
