A robot was launched to the International Space Station to give the astronauts company that are currently on board. The Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) launched the robot along with 3.5 tons of other supplies. This robot is just 13 inches tall and was sent into space has part of an experiment to study how humans and robots interact with one another. It is equipped with voice recognition technology as well as a camera. It can also recognize emotion and natural language processing.
The team that has made this impressive robot have said they want to create a world where humans and robot interact with on another. The rest of the cargo shipped to the space station was the typical supplies needed for the six astronauts that are currently on board.

-ATM machines that can talk to you.
Talking ATM machines are now a reality. The new "interactive teller" technology now gives a person a chance to talk to the ATM machine. This new interactive machine can do a number of things that couldn't of been achieved in the past. For example, if you lost your ATM card all you would need is to show the "person" your ID card and the person could tell if your the real person. Another benefit is fast service and the transactions happen instantly making for a more smoother transaction. There are more than 350 of these interactive ATM machines and they are spreading quickly.  These ATM machines are expected to be widespread across the United States within the next year. As Shelley Waite the Vice President of ATMS at the company Bank of America says, “This is the future of banking." These new interactive machines will bring a better service to the customer and make banking transactions even easier than even before.
