DARPA Robot Unveiled and “Smart Pen”?

-The company DARPA unveils on of the most sophisticated robots ever created. 




This robot, created by DARPA weighs 330 pounds and is over 6 feet tall. It’s arm stretch wider than a length of a car. This giant robot is controlled by a human and is guided it with sensors. Some of it features include walking , staying upright after being hit by objects, among other things. Experts hope one day this type of robot can be used in a disaster type scenario, rescuing people in a situation when people need help.

-Digital pen intended to check for spelling errors and make handwriting neater.

Invented by two German entrepreneurs, this pen (called “Lernshift”) has a sensor in it that has the ability to detect hand motion and letters. If it senses  bad hand writing, it will vibrate warning you of the messy handwriting. In the near future, the creators hope that this smart pen will have the ability vibrate when you spell a word wrong when writing.
