Nokia Lumia 1020 and the Possibility of "Electronic Skin"?

The latest articles discuss the discovery of the "true blue planet" to new eye scanning technology that is being implemented into schools around the United States.

-Hubble discovers planet the true blue color "HD 189733b" in another solar system around 63 light years away.

The planet, discovered in 2005 by the famous Hubble telescope, finds that this planet is the color blue based off years of observations. Does this planet have a chance to hold life? Most likely not. Within this world the temperature gets over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. The average wind speed on this planet is a howling 4,500 mph. The atmosphere is thick with poisonous gasses they make it impossible for this planet to hold life.

-Nokia Lumia coming to AT&T.
The Nokia Lumia releases on July 26th and expects to destroy the competition with new innovated technologies. This new product delivers next generation image quality in nighttime and daytime conditions. The company Nokia claims that image quality is the best that the smartphone market has ever seen. This new product will give you the ability to edit photographs among the other neat features that are within the gadget. When released, expect to pick this new product up for $299.

-Eye scanners to replace school IDs in some schools.
Winthrop University in South Carolina is testing out this new eye scanning technology by scanning new freshmen students before they get their ID card. A technology that will catch fire and has the possibility of becoming used widespread quickly. An ID card is one less thing for a person to carry around. Besides this University, schools all the way down to the elementary level are planning to use this new technology for this upcoming school year.

-The possibility of buildings changing themselves thanks to 4D printing.
MIT's Skylar Tibbits claims in the near future, thanks to 4D printing technology, that buildings might have the ability to adapt to the conditions and environment around them. Very interesting indeed.

-Nanoparticles could power electronic skin in the near future.

Skin

This new development in nanotechnology might offer "electronic skin" for robots and the idea of "smart limbs" for those that can feel temperature. This future technology could also give you the ability to feel humidity and even pressure. It is being developed by chemical engineers at the Israel Institute of Technology, who discovered a type of gold nano particle that can change based off of pressure. Don't expect this to be seen very soon, as the technology is still in the testing phase. This technology is very promising however and maybe in a decade or so you could see this breakthrough technology being used.

-Man who predicted "smart glass" forecasts more about the future.
David Brin, a physicist and well known author actually made accurate predictions in the past talks about what the future may bring.  He says like every generation, it'll take time for a product like Google Glass to be accepted in society. He also goes on to say how augmented reality will lead to death. (People being distracted by their glasses while driving is an example). Also, the ability to identify people will be easier than ever before. Brin goes on to say that wallets won't be needed anymore. Instead of carrying your credit cards, you will be already wearing them. Can Google Glass be accepted into society? I'd say down the road it does have the potential, but companies like Google need to ease it into society, or it will be rejected as quickly as it was offered.
