NASA’s Kepler mission is helping to find these Earth-like planets. Sometimes referred to “Goldilocks” planets, theses type of planets have the possibility of holding the right conditions for life to to be living on them. They have found super-earth’s planets that are a lot larger than our planet. The search for a planet near the size of ours is on going.
