Microsoft is expected to announce a new Surface Tablet computer, including a version with a smaller screen that can rival Google and Apple's similar products. The surface will be lighter and thinner than ever before. It also uses less energy and doesn't require a fan to run the machine. It also features a Haswell Processor and even improved battery life. Microsoft hopes that the Surface 2 can do better than the original Surface, as the Surface sales were disappointing to say the least. -Apple sells record 9 million iPhones in opening weekend.
Apple's new iPhone sold a record 9 million iPhones in its debut and doubled the number of iPhones sold when the orignal iPhone 5 was released. One of the main reason why it had so much success is because Apple opened up a market in China - a place where Apple has never released the iPhone before. The company expects to be on the higher range of estimates for their quarterly earnings.
