-Hubble space telescope discovers another moon orbiting the planet Neptune.




The moon called S/2004 N 1 is only about 12 miles across. NASA says that the moon is one million times fainter than the faintest star you could ever see with the naked eye. Mark Showwalter made the discover  early this month and he said, "The moons and arcs orbit very quickly, so we had to devise a way to follow their motion in order to bring out the details of the system. It's the same reason a sports photographer tracks a running athlete -- the athlete stays in focus, but the background blurs." This became known has the 14th moon that orbits the planet Neptune.
